First of all, I realize this postal service isn't my usual healthy recipe or tip. But I know I'm not the merely mom stuck in this position this twelvemonth and I wanted to share my solution. United states of america parents have to stick together.
Since you're reading this post, it's safe to presume that like me you've been searching like a crazy person for a Hatchimal.
Or, I gauge you lot could have clicked over here to try to figure out what a Hatchimal is. You'll also observe, that while these toys usually price around $45, they are selling on Amazon and everywhere else for as much as $300! Yikes!
So that leaves a whole bunch of us wondering what to do. Choice A) Spend your entire Christmas budget on one toy. Or B) Wake upwardly to a disappointed child on Christmas morning.
And, of grade my daughter is OBSESSED with this toy. Yeah, she put other things on her list, but this is the 1 she tells everyone she is getting on Christmas morning. Yep, I know it wouldn't exist the end of the world if she didn't get one. But, the thought of her tears on Christmas morning time breaks my centre.
So, I've been wracking my encephalon for a third option. And I think I figured it out!
A letter from Santa!
I wrote this unproblematic letter that volition be arriving at our business firm straight from the Due north Pole in the side by side few weeks. The alphabetic character just lets her know that in that location is a chance that she won't discover a Hatchimal under the Christmas tree. And, of form there is a perfectly reasonable caption! Eggs must exist laid by mommy birds and they are having a hard time keeping up with the demand.
I'll keep looking for a ordinarily priced Hatchimal earlier Christmas. But fifty-fifty if I don't find ane, I don't have to dread Christmas morn. The company that makes the Hatchimal has said that there will be plenty of stock come January, so fifty-fifty if I have to wait and buy one then it will be okay.
And, it fifty-fifty makes me smile to imagine my daughter's confront i morning time in Jan when she wakes upward to realize that Santa was in our business firm over again that night. We salvage $250 and the magic of Christmas is preserved. Win/Win.
And so, here is that free printable letter you are welcome to have Santa send to your child too. I'd recommend sending information technology a few weeks before Christmas so your child has plenty of alarm and so that you aren't tempted to drib $200 for one on Amazon. Seriously, how do these people alive with themselves selling them for THIS MUCH?!
